State Support Team Region 2 is pleased to offer professional development, technical assistance, and consultation on a variety of early childhood special education topics, including:
- Transition from IDEA Part C to Part B as well as Preschool to Kindergarten;
- Compliance with federal and state special education laws and regulations;
- Development and implementation of Interagency Agreements for provision of services to Preschoolers with disabilities;
- Implementation of transdisciplinary play-based assessment;
- Completion and use of the Child Outcomes Summary (COS);
- Delivery of services, including specially designed instruction, data collection, and least restrictive environment decisions;
- And other topics as requested by programs.
