Registration Details:
It is important to provide a variety of experiences to support children’s communication and language skills. The purpose of this session is to provide instructional strategies to help teachers create language- and communication-rich environments that engage children who are non-verbal in meaningful experiences that promote development.  Join Stacey Vince and Jennifer Heim for this interactive, make-it take-it session that will send you back to your classroom with communication and literacy materials that are ready to implement with your students the next day.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
-Participants will demonstrate an understanding of why it is important to support children’s communication and language skills.

-Participants will identify strategies to create language and communication-rich environments that are accessible for all learners

-Participants will understand how to begin implementing assistive technology to promote communication and language skills
