Event Groups:
• State Support Team 2 - State Support Team 2 Events
Description:
The Early Childhood Special Education Itinerant Network is designed to provide a forum for itinerant staff to join together to discuss the challenges and successes that are inherent in the Itinerant Service Delivery Model. In this supportive environment, participants will learn from each other as they share stories, problem-solve, and explore current evidence-based strategies while striving toward improving their coaching and consulting skills. Our focus this year will be on developing strong family partnerships for students receiving itinerant services.

This network is intended for Early Childhood Itinerant Intervention Specialists and Related Services Providers who serve Preschool children within the SST2 region. Early Childhood Administrators/Supervisors are welcome to join in.

This training is pending Ohio Approval. If approved, participants will earn 8 OCCRRA professional development hours over four sessions (9/8/23, 11/17/23, 1/26/24, 4/12/24). Registration is not required to attend this network.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Participants will be able to: identify best practices for delivery of itinerant services; foster collaborative partnerships with families of students being served; and network and troubleshoot with itinerant colleagues to share resources and strategies.
