During this series, early childhood PBIS leadership teams will build their PBIS Tier II system. The modules will include a review of the essential components of Tier I, utilizing Tier I data to reflect on program readiness and building the Tier II system. Teams will identify roles and functions of Tier II leadership team, a process for student identification for Tier II supports, and monitoring and evaluating interventions through a team-based problem-solving process.
This three day training is designed for members of the EC PBIS Leadership Team who are currently implementing Tier I practices with 70% implementation on the Tier I Tiered Fidelity Inventory.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will:
- Define the purpose and essential components of Tier II in the PBIS framework.
- Review and assess their current Tier I framework to determine level of implementation.
- Use Tier I data to reflect on program readiness for Tier II.
- Identify roles and function of Tier II leadership team.
- Develop a process for student identification of Tier II supports.
- Identify how to use team- based problem solving.
- Identify how to monitor Tier II interventions.
- Identify how to evaluate the Tier II intervention system.
