Beginning in January 2014 the State Support Teams began
supporting Career Technical Planning Districts (CTPD) in
nine counties, including those covered by SST2 (Erie, Huron, and Lorain
Counties). This position is the result of a joint venture between the Office of Exceptional Children and the Office of Career-Technical Education (The Ohio Department of Education) to support CTPD's in serving students with disabilities

SST staff will assist in the development of professional development presentations and resources in collaboration with Office of exceptional children and Career-Technical Education departments that can be used across all Career Technical Planning Districts. The focus of the professional development is about improving instructional support to career technical instructors serving diverse learners and particularly students with disabilities.
