Registration Details:

Come and learn about Teacher Based Teams! We will look at how effective TBTs work to implement school-wide strategies and, at a more granular level, other practices that fit well with school-wide strategies. In Ohio's model, teacher-based teams (TBTs) work in alignment with BLTs and the DLT to distribute responsibility and accountability for student learning to all educators, and this will be addressed in the session.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Participants will learn:
-TBTs use the Ohio's 5-Step Process which promotes (1) the consistent analysis of student formative data and (2) the development, implementation, and monitoring of instructional plans that embed challenging curriculum and evidence-based teaching practices for all learners.
-The OIP process supports TBTs in building a culture of inquiry wherein teachers are challenged to pay careful attention to data, participate in deep discussions about instructional effectiveness, and use processes of self-reflection that lead to more effective practice and, as a result, to increased student learning and achievement.
-The purpose, roles, and responsibilities of TBTs and how to support effect team meetings.
