Join fellow district and building administrators as we learn more about understanding and implementing federal regulations (section 300.530) related to discipline and students with disabilities.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Participants will gain knowledge about discipline practices for students with disabilities including removals.
- Participants will understand whether or not the current removal from school exceeds the 10 "free" cumulative days in a school year.
- Participants will understand how a student can be removed beyond the 10 days in a school year.
- Participants will walk through various student discipline based scenarios.
