Adolescent readers do not stop learning to read just because they complete elementary school. As students read history textbooks, scientific articles and math problems, they face challenging vocabulary words, complicated text structure and rigorous assignments following the completion of the reading. As a teacher, you can support your students literacy growth, no matter what you teach. Join us to learn more about evidence-based strategies you can incorporate into your instruction.

Learning Objectives:
Evidence-based strategies for incorporating vocabulary, comprehension, discussion, motivation and writing into your current lesson plans to support adolescent reading skill development.
