The purpose of a BLT as defined in the Ohio Leadership Advisory Council’s (OLAC)
Leadership Development Framework (page 27) is, “supporting improvement in instructional practice on a school-wide basis…establishing priorities for instruction and achievement…supporting the effective and ongoing use of data to monitor adult follow-through and student progress.”
