State Support Team Region 2 assists educators in Erie, Huron, and Lorain counties in meeting the needs of students with disabilities and those at risk of being identified as having a disability by providing high quality professional development, targeted technical assistance, and resources in regards to all facets of serving students with exceptionalities.

Family Information for Students with Disabilities

Ohio, and all of its 16 State Support Teams, are committed to ensuring positive and meaningful educational experiences for students with disabilities that will lead to academic and postsecondary success. SST2 offers a variety of special education-related professional development and technical assistance services to district personnel in alignment with Ohio's Plan to Improve Learning Experiences and Outcomes for Students with Disabilities, Each Child Means Each Child. We welcome questions from parents of students with disabilities in any area of need with regards to special education and the topics listed within this website.
